What is it?

The CLIPS device is an innovative dry powder
application system, currently exclusively for use with
Indigo Ag biotrinsic® flowable powder seed coating
applications. It provides a convenient and consistent
means for applying FP formulations for up to 50 units
of seeds stored in a bulk seed box, and allows
biotrinsic® applications to be “applied” on seed up to a
year in advance.


The device holds a single sealed pod containing a
flowable powder application. Once installed inside a
bulk seed box, the pod remains sealed until the seeds
are released from the bottom of the box. Then, the
device’s arm pulls down and opens the pod, evenly
and effortlessly coating the seeds.

Using CLIPS for FP bio applications results in an even seed coating — on par with or better than manual application rates — and has been proven to do so in a variety of tests.
